2019-20 School Supplies

Below are the lists of required school supplies for various classes. Please also note the following:

Please label all of your child’s supplies, as well as their sweaters/coats, with his/her name.
Donations of Kleenex, wipes, paper towels, hand sanitizer, and copy paper are always appreciated! You can bring them to the school, or purchase those or other items via our teachers’ wish list on Amazon: http://bit.ly/ckswishlist2019

Kindergarten

Please do not send markers or colored pencils with your child.

KG Community Supplies: Donations of the following items to the classroom would be greatly appreciated!

1 backpack without wheels
1 standard basic pencil box
1 pair of rounded scissors
2 boxes of crayons (16 or 24 pack) (Crayola or crazart)
10 glue sticks (more later as needed)
2 thin highlighters
2 thin dry erase markers
1 pack of regular yellow pencils (no plastic or glitter as they are hard on the pencil sharpener)
2 sturdy folders with pockets on the bottom with three holes punched to fit in a binder (Walmart has them)
1 white standard view 1-inch binder (Walmart has them)
2 pink erasers
1 set of washable water colors (Crayola or Crazart)
2 primary journals
Headphones (no ear buds)
An old paint shirt
All 1st grade students must have rubber soled P.E. shoes.

2 8-oz. glue bottles
2-3 boxes of tissues
2 pink erasers
1box (Crayola brand) markers
1 pair Fiskar scissors.
1 box of watercolors
2 lg. containers of disinfecting wipes.
2 quart size Ziploc bags
1 sandwich size Ziploc bag
$2 for 2 journals and 2 plastic homework folders with 2 pockets, which will be provided by Ms. Bushnell.

Binder or pocket folders. Students will receive multiple worksheets from various teachers and can choose to keep them in one binder with 5 tab dividers or use individual pocket files for each subject. If they prefer individual pocket folders, they will need 5 folders -- for English, Social studies, Math, Science and a combined Arabic and Ethics folder.
Wide ruled spiral bound notebooks--one for each subject
A dictionary/thesaurus. I recommend the Oxford Pocket Dictionary and Thesaurus or the Merriam Webster's Dictionary and Thesaurus
No. 2 pencils (6 count)
1 pack 24 crayons
1 pack washable markers

1 bottle Elmer's glue

A student planner or agenda. This is to help students keep track of homework assignments and deadlines and other school events. These can often be found at the Dollar Tree, 99c store or Target dollar spot.
