Below are the lists of required school supplies for various classes. Please also note the following:
Please label all of your child’s supplies, as well as their sweaters/coats, with his/her name.
Donations of Kleenex, wipes, paper towels, hand sanitizer, and copy paper are always appreciated! You can bring them to the school, or purchase those or other items via our teachers’ wish list on Amazon: http://bit.ly/ckswishlist2019
Kindergarten
Pencil box (standard size (not too long) and without zipper)
Lunch box
Backpack without wheels
8-pack of crayons (not 18, 24, 64..)
2 jumbo pencils
4 glue sticks
2 large pink erasers
1 school glue
2 plain pocket folders with name written on them
1 pack #2 pencils
2 large boxes of tissues
1 pack 3x5 index cards
1 set of extra clothes in a bag with child’s name on it
1 pack of small and large paper plates (not foam)
1 bag of cotton balls (100 ct)
1 pack construction paper (8x12)
2 gallon size Ziploc bags

Large old shirt for painting
Small blanket for quiet time (space is limited)

1 pack of regular yellow pencils (no plastic or glitter as they are hard on the pencil sharpener)
2 sturdy folders with pockets on the bottom with three holes punched to fit in a binder (Walmart has them)
1 white standard view 1-inch binder (Walmart has them)
2 pink erasers
1 set of washable water colors (Crayola or Crazart)
2 primary journals
Headphones (no ear buds)
An old paint shirt
All 1st grade students must have rubber soled P.E. shoes.

Binder or pocket folders. Students will receive multiple worksheets from various teachers and can choose to keep them in one binder with 5 tab dividers or use individual pocket files for each subject. If they prefer individual pocket folders, they will need 5 folders -- for English, Social studies, Math, Science and a combined Arabic and Ethics folder.
Wide ruled spiral bound notebooks--one for each subject
A dictionary/thesaurus. I recommend the Oxford Pocket Dictionary and Thesaurus or the Merriam Webster's Dictionary and Thesaurus

A student planner or agenda. This is to help students keep track of homework assignments and deadlines and other school events. These can often be found at the Dollar Tree, 99c store or Target dollar spot.
