Join Sahar Alsahlani, proud parent of two City of Knowledge graduates, for an informal conversation about the work of the Community of Living Traditions and broader multifaith peace and justice initiatives. Sahar raised her family in the Inland Empire for many years before moving to New York to join the multifaith community at Stony Point Center, where she has lived and worked for the last four years. She is deeply involved in multifaith engagement and serves on the boards of Religions for Peace USA, the Council on American Islamic Relations, and the Fellowship of Reconciliation. Sahar, a GreenFaith Fellow, is also a regular media commentator on Islamophobia and Interfaith Activisim. Snacks and refreshments will be served.
